Small businesses that are owned by women and minorities that provide professional services, construction and supplies can apply for a free certification under the SBA 8(a), HUBZone and other specialized program certifications. Federal, State and local public agencies across the US seek out firms certified for federally funded projects with these certification set-asides. If you are interested in learning about free certifications that can help your small business gain a competitive advantage in finding and securing government contracting opportunities, please plan to attend this workshop. There is no charge to attend. This year’s workshop will cover the following topics – • Which Federal Agencies use my products or services? How to market to these agencies? • What certifications and set-asides are available through the SBA 8(a) program? • How do I generate business in the State of Utah and surrounding states? • What types of business documents do I need to apply for certification? • How to do business with the National Park Service
