Strategic Objectives

  6.         -    recognition by our stakeholders as an essential resource and quality program     
  7.         -    opportunities for grants and program income
  8.     3. To add value to our host institutions and stakeholders  

Background - The Utah Small Business Development Center (Utah SBDC) was established in 1981. The Utah SBDC is a network of business consultants, trainers and educators and support staff operating out of Utah’s state colleges and universities statewide. Key stakeholders of the program are the various state higher educational institutions that host the program regionally, the US Small Business Administration and the Utah Governors Office of Economic Development. Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) is the SBA Grantee for the program, managing the program statewide.
