DEAR COMPETITOR: Our Social Spend Makes Cents | Mauricio Melendez The importance of target marketing for both retail and service based industries. Focusing on: How to reach a local market for retail and service based companies that depend on foot traffic, through social media spend. How to make your dollar go further through social media for a service based industry who’s market is not just geographically defined by office location. Demonstrate how ROI can be increased by knowing where to cast your net versus throwing your net everywhere and hoping you get a bite.

Speaker(s): Mauricio Melendez moved to Morgan, Utah with his wife Jodi in 2008 and is the father of five daughters. Melendez was in the travel industry for 15 years before launching Traverse Tours and Travel in 2013. Many told him that a travel agency in a rural community would not do well, but several years later, Traverse caters to clients all over the world. In 2020, he owns several rapid-growing companies. Melendez puts great emphasis on building a great team for each of his companies. 'Building a good team has been very critical to our success. I know that I can only do so much and it is our team that will take us to the next level. When the team is invested in the company, it is no longer your company. It is their company and everyone puts forth the effort to grow the business.' Melendez and his teams are proud to give their clients the best experiences possible.
